A hand-sculpted ceramic drinking horn inspired by ancient cornucopias and Renaissance European silver horns. The horn is detachable and secured with silicone stoppers and a silver chain finished with a pink freshwater pearl, preventing it from slipping during use.
The sculptural support depicts a hermaphroditic Triton — a mythical sea being from the ancient world, with sea snakes forming its limbs. The horn itself is adorned with 10K gold details, including a crescent moon and a winged fascinum — an ancient protective symbol associated with vitality, fertility, and power.
Glazed with a flowing melting colors effect, the surface of the Triton feels alive and fluid as if the material is still in motion. Both functional object and ritual sculpture, this piece exists in a single edition and will not be reproduced.
